28 November 2003 - Recap of the First Ever FNG Turkey Bowl

Turkey Bowl Results:

The Players
Jeff Litster (ThatOneGuy)
Dave Holland (Toxic)
Jarin Blackham (Thundr)
Tyson Rice (pingerboy)

Jeff's remarks:

I was so excited during the competition, that I forgot to take any screenshots!!! Sorry!
The most exciting part of the night was the neck-in-neck competition going on between Dave and Tyson. Their places were determined by the last race alone, as they were right with each other through the entire tourney.

The tracks were great... The tourney consisted of 7 runs. We raced all 6 tracks, decided which one we all liked the best and raced that one a second time. Snowfields one the best track award.

I disqualify myself from being winner of the tourney, as I was the only one who had raced all the tracks before, and with such short notice for the Turkey Bowl, it wouldn't be fair.

First Official Turkey Bowl Results
ThatOneGuy 140 pts.
Thundr 114 pts.
Pingerboy 99 pts.
Toxic 95 pts.
So the official winner of the First Ever FNG Turkey Bowl goes to....
Jarin Blackham (Thundr)
Congrats to all riders... it was an intense and very fun competition. We will re-run the same track pack in a future tourney to be announced soon. So practice up!!!
Jeff (That One Guy) plans on reclaiming the throne next time! ;)

We had 7 people show up, but only 4 were able to connect to the tourney. Everyone please make sure your ports are open properly and that your connections are working prior to coming to the tourneys. We were an hour late starting, and felt bad that 3 people weren't able to join.. it's always more fun with more people. So make sure you're ready for the next tourney!

Dave's Remarks:

Well, I struggled to stay ahead of PingerBoy the entire race, but alas, I fell behind on the killer snowy mountain map from Hades and took last place in the tournament. This will not happen again, oh no.. it will NOT happen again.
